CEWS has been constantly trying to improve learning outcomes of poor and underprivileged children in the underprivileged sections of the society. These children suffer extreme disparity and deprivation and engage in rag picking, waste picking or other small jobs to make their ends meet. These children are not attending school regularly and are likely to drop out of school.
Remedial teaching centres have been opened in few locations to impart grade-specific education to slum children.
Moreover, providing training & employment initiatives to women also helped them to send children to school. A few of our multiple programs to support education of the underprivileged children are
- Meal Box Distribution for children
- Distribution of stationary and books
- Seminar on Importance of Education in Society suggesting doable remedies to the issue on the whole
